Shea Lotion 8oz

These natural, handmade, creams are beautiful. Shea Butter and Grapeseed oil are known for their exquisite moisturizing properties. Hemp Oil and Vitamin E. are added for yet more luxury. These creamy lotions are very rich and emollient… a little goes a long way.

As with all of my handmade products, much time and research has gone into this product. I have been disgusted with all of the mineral oil, alcohol and parabens (the usual preservatives used) that are found in even the most expense store brand "moisturizers". These ingredients do not moisturize because they cannot penetrate the skin. Mineral oil only puts a barrier on the skin - not unlike wrapping your arm in plastic wrap - feeling great when first applied but actually drying out the skin necessitating the need to apply more of the lotion thus exacerbating the problem.

Ingredients: Distilled Water, Grapeseed Oil, Shea Butter, Glycerin, Emulsifying Wax, Hemp Seed Oil, Fragrance or Essential Oil, Stearic Acid, Vitamin E., Citric Acid, Less than 1% Non-Paraben Preservative: (Propylene glycol, Diazolidinyl urea, Iodopropynyl butylcarbamate.)

Note : When purchasing natural butter or oil, it's essential to understand that exposure to high temperatures during shipping or processing can alter its texture. In these cases, the butter may become liquid, but it can be emulsified and quickly cooled, leading to a smoother, more uniform consistency once it solidifies.
